I thought I can be a good with people who has disabilities, before I came to Comox, I have been working with them for more than 3 years. I know what they want to do, so I can help them more than anybody.
When I made lunch for G, he throw it away, destroy it or smash it. If someone is doing, it was okay or less behavior.
If I gave him medication, refused it. He just gave me hard time every single step. He hadn't called my name at all before having Christmas party at Jubilee house. Everybody who were in party firmed about me. I haven't done it. First turn was G, I was expecting him to pass candle without firming. How he hated me, gave me hard time.
He just told me, "I like you, Eunkee."
I couldn't believe it. He called my name and told me how he thinks about me.
Even it can be a sentence for him at anyone's farewell's party, it taught me a lot, It was not easy to get along with him for 2 months. I couldn't handle anything. I pray to God with so many beautiful word as much as I could. God will be happy with just with our all hearts as he said it.
That is why I decided to live 6 months more in L'Arche. My L'Arche experience is getting longer and deeper, I am just happy with my simple people. Let's make it better for 6 months.
